Data Mining for Terrorists and Innocents
As we all know the internet is a world of its own, you can be anyone at anytime. The Tuscon data mining project has a lot of positives and negatives. By combing the internet in search of militant leaders and their follows means combing through anything that may even seem a bit suspicious. In doing this they might come across a piece of private information belonging to someone who may be completely innocent, but it then again they might not be. The process of the data mining project is very intricate to comb through the entire internet seeing how vast and wide it has been spreading. Right now they are unclear if the project compromises anyone first amendment rights but on the other hand it is improving detection of terroristic activities being done on the web. Hopefully with surveillance techniques will improve with time, trial and error.

CRM for Abandoned Vehicles in San Francisco
First off, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is a system that is constructed to manage the information and solutions someone would receive if they were to call into the city government to report or complain about a matter. In one of the considerable populated cities in the United States, it has over 80,000 residents residing there. With such a large population San Francisco's process for abandoned vehicle detail, meaning calls informing whomever that there has been an abandoned vehicle for over 72 hours in a certain area, was not as dexterous as one would have hoped for. After realizing the problem with the efficiency of the answering process the government decided they needed to make a change. With this realization and the help of the Department of Telecommunications and Information Services (DTIS) came a new improved system where the process will be handled more effectively than it was before. The collaboration that CRM and DTIS display is effective on so many levels.
